In the final stages of the creation of a Toolkit to aid employees and managers of employees who go on deployment. The toolkit will include optional training on military culture and structure. We also have a handbook that educates our HR on terms, ranks, and how to find base TAP offices.

These include:
• Purple Runway: FedEx created the Purple Runway Aviation Scholarship program and is collaborating with six universities and technical schools from around the country that provide education and training for aspiring pilots, aircraft maintenance technicians and other aviation professionals.
• Through our LiFE program, team members at our Memphis, Indianapolis, Newark, Oakland and Los Angeles hubs have the chance to earn a college degree from the University of Memphis with potentially no out-of-pocket costs.
• As part of the LiFE program, we also offer the LiFE Prep Academy, geared to employees who want to pursue their GED.
FedEx also participates in Onward 2 Opportunity to allow veterans and spouses to obtain, free, professional certificates and provide apprenticeship (ASE Certification) Driver Apprentice (CDL).
