Amgen supports the Hiring Our Heroes Spouse Fellowship Program. Our Veteran Employment Program Manager also works with spouses on an individual basis. Military Spouse recruiting is covered in our training about the Veteran Employment Program as well. We offer tuition assistance or other financial support toward the preparation, attainment, and/or maintaining of an academic or professional certificate, degree, or another civilian credentialAmgen provides tuition assistance and reimbursement towards obtaining credentials and certifications. Military equivalents are also recognized within the company.

senior leadership

Two of Amgen's previous CEO's served in the U.S. Navy. This is one of many reasons why Amgen is so passionate and dedicated to hiring veterans. We currently have three vice presidents who served in either the U.S. military or in the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. One of whom is a former Surgeon General of the United States. We also have several Executive Directors and Directors who served in the U.S. military.
