We provide veterans with vocational training in a number of disciplines both business and technically focused, followed by commercial experience working with our prestigious clients as professional IT and business Consultants. Recruiters and hiring managers go through leadership and recruitment training and every member of internal staff receive unconscious bias training for interviewing/hiring. Our dedicated Head of the Veterans Program and Regional Veteran Recruitment Lead are available for all hiring managers to refer to with questions about applications/resumes from military applicants. Our team of veteran recruiters take on the duty to recruit our veteran workforce. As veterans themselves, they are able to emphasize and establish a relationship with candidates, truly understanding the candidate’s situation and providing support where necessary.

military connected assistance

FDM has a committed Consultant Support Team that maintains regular communication with all consultants following their onboarding at a client site. FDM's online collaboration site, SAP Jam, provides the opportunity for consultants to connect and socialize with each other and is another way for consultants to contact their Consultant Support Team. All FDM consultants have access to confidential support, guidance and structured counselling through our Employee Assistance Program. We have Wellbeing Ambassadors across the FDM community who provide support and coaching as well as direct relevant professional help. FDM also partners with survey provider, Inpulse to create employee surveys in order to understand the views of our people and how to take positive action to adjust to their needs.
