military spouse recruitment and hiring

The Military Relations Team has a dedicated Military Spouse Outreach Specialist, who is a Military Spouse. She is responsible for internal and external outreach. She is fully engaged in the Lockheed Martin Heroes Program that assists not only transitioning military and veterans but also has a focus on fellowship and apprenticeship opportunities for military spouses. External Outreach includes being a member of the Hiring our Heroes Military Spouse Employment Advisory Council; the White house Military Spouse initiative with ACP and First Lady Karen Pence and monthly communications to the Military Spouse Employment Program (MSEP) POC. In addition, Lockheed Martin has initiated a Military Spouse Alliance, a sub-group of the Mil Vet Leadership BRG - for additional outreach to internal Lockheed Martin employees who either support or have self-identified as military spouses.
