Deloitte offers our military recruiting team training on the similarities and differences of military culture, career paths, job levels and structure.

military spouse recruitment and hiring

Deloitte’s Military Spouse Initiative (MSI) is a program created by military spouses for military spouses that provides a workplace that supports, attracts, and retains military spouses through transition support and career development in order to increase the readiness of our armed forces.. The MSI program, which launched in 2016, leverages the Deloitte U.S. Firms' existing infrastructure to support Deloitte military spouse employees when their spouse service member receives orders for relocation. MSI has four pillars of support for Deloitte military spouses:
• Military Spouse Ambassador Program: offers an onboarding and mentorship for military spouses to help expand their networks and find new opportunities as they transition within Deloitte
• Talent Support: raises awareness and support of the unique profile of the military spouse
• Recruiting: coordinates recruiting efforts that market Deloitte as a career option to qualified military spouses including a national external Military Spouse Mentorship program, where we partner individuals with Deloitte military spouses to explore their interests and offer inspiring advice and anecdotal experiences
• Professional Development: offers skill development and coaching opportunities that enable military spouses to pursue fulfilling careers
This initiative demonstrates Deloitte’s ongoing commitment to the military and its families and attracts a largely untapped talent pool of qualified applicants.

military connected assistance

Deloitte’s CORE Success program targets new hire veterans in their first six months of employment at Deloitte. The 8-hour workshop assists veteran new hires in understanding the similarities and differences between military and civilian work culture, developing key skills for successfully engaging with others in a civilian work setting, and finding fulfillment and connectedness in a civilian job.

Our CORE Success program will soon be helping our clients retain their new veteran hires by providing tools to accelerate the veteran’s adaption to a civilian environment.

The Deloitte Consulting Veteran Excellence Team offers a Veteran Mentorship Program (VMP) that pairs new hire veterans with fellow veteran mentors. The program provides new hire veterans with a resource with multiple years of experience at the firm and valuable perspectives on making the successful transition to Deloitte.
